Forest Dempsey was born on March 15th, 1923 in Morgan County, Indiana, USA. Forest Dempsey's father was David Luther Payton and his mother was Bessie L Medsker. His paternal grandparents were Lawson E. Payton and Ruth Adeline Harvey. He had five brothers named Richard L., David Luther, Daniel Fredrick, Bruce Morgan and Merrill L.. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 62 on October 3rd, 1985 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, USA. He was buried in Shultz Cemetery.-
