David Luther was born on October 2nd, 1921 in Martinsville, Morgan, Indiana, USA. David Luther's father was David Luther Payton and his mother was Bessie L Medsker. His paternal grandparents were Lawson E. Payton and Ruth Adeline Harvey. He had five brothers named Richard L., Forest Dempsey, Daniel Fredrick, Bruce Morgan and Merrill L.. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 56 on December 3rd, 1977 in Martinsville, Morgan, Indiana, USA. He was buried in Shultz Cemetery.-
