Hedwig was born on 22-Aug-1898 in Trossen. Hedwig's father was Friedrich Smollich and her mother was Henriette Fiedrich. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Smollich and ? Hartwig. She was the youngest of two children. She had a brother named Max. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Walter, Ernst, Fritz and Grete. She died, at the age of 103, on 17-Oct-2001 in Neubrandenburg.
