Hildegard was born on 31-Oct-1917. Hildegard's father was Michael Smollich and her mother was Emilie Bascheck. Her paternal grandfather was Johann Smollich. She was the youngest of seven children. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Paul, Kurt, Helene, Hanna, Charlotte and Edith. She died, at the age of 86, on 18-Dec-2003.
