Sy Nong's father was Sy Omar and his mother is Sh Khadijah.  His paternal grandfather was Sy Ali; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named Sy Hussin, Sy Hassan, Sh Salme and Sh Juriah.  He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Sy Muhd Rasul, Cik, Sh Azam, Sh Bee and Sh Kawa.  Sy Nong is no longer alive.
