Jannetje was born in September 1747 in Veenendaal and her baptism took place there on September 3rd, 1747.  Jannetje's father was Johannes Veenendaal and her mother was Trijntje Ros.  Her paternal grandparents were Berend Veenendaal and Jannigje/Jannechien van Ravenswaaij. She had a brother and four sisters, named Berend, Cornelia, Berendina, Hendrikje and Jacoba.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 74 on April 26th, 1822.
