Petrus Geurts

Petrus was born in 1706 in Groessen and his baptism took place there on January 31st, 1706.  Petrus' father was Jan Geurts and his mother was Willemke/Wilhelmina Elshoff.  His paternal grandparents were Godefridus Berns and Jenneken Thuijssen (Lamers); his maternal grandparents were Henricus Elshoff and Geertie Goosens Sweeckhorst. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henricus, Joannes, Everardus, Joanna and Godefridus.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 36 in 1742.
