Joanna Geurts

Joanna was born in 1697 in Groessen.  Joanna's father was Jan Geurts and her mother was Willemke/Wilhelmina Elshoff.  Her paternal grandparents were Godefridus Berns and Jenneken Thuijssen (Lamers); her maternal grandparents were Henricus Elshoff and Geertie Goosens Sweeckhorst. She had four brothers and a sister, named Henricus, Joannes, Petrus, Everardus and Godefridus.  She was the oldest of the six children.
