John was born in 1759 in Barton-Upon-Humber, Lincoln, England and his christening took place there on July 27th, 1759.  John's father was William Rack and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. He had five sisters named Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah, Sally and Isabel.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 1 in 1760 in Barton-Upon-Humber, Lincoln, England.  He was buried on September 12th, 1760 in Saint Peters Church, Barton-Upon-Humber, Lincoln, England.
