John Rack

John was born in 1859 in Kendal, Westmorland, England and his christening took place there on December 9th, 1859. John's father was John Rack and his mother was Margaret Lishman. His paternal grandparents were John Rack and Jane Jessom. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, George, Thomas, Miles, Elizabeth, Maggie, Sarah and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the nine children.
