John was born in 1703 in Stallingborough, Lincoln, England and his christening took place there on December 27th, 1703.  John's father was William Racke and his mother was Jane West.  His paternal grandparents were John Mundy and Emm Racke. He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Izabel, Jane and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 46 in 1749 in Grimoldby, Lincoln, England.  He was buried on October 18th, 1749 in Grimoldby, Lincoln, England.
