Rev Franke Parker

Franke was born on September 16th, 1803 in Newton Saint Cyrus, Devonshire, England. Franke's father was Mr Franke Parker and his mother was Mrs Gertrude Battishill. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, William, George and Mary. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 79 on April 3rd, 1883 in Luffincott, Devonshire, England.

General Notes
- Educated at Bludells school in Tiverton; Cambridge, B.A. in 1828, M.A. in 1831. He was ordained Deacon at Exeter in 1829, Priest in 1831. He was Curate. of Stampford-Peverall, Devon; Curate at Starcross 1831-1832, and rector of Luffincott 1838-1883.
  
  He wrote several books: The Church, With A Chart, Chronology; The Parish Chronicle; A Light Thrown on Thucydides, The Athenian Year; and Ptolemy and the Metonic Cycle. He was unmarried when he died.
