Frank was born on August 11th, 1887 in Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England and his baptism took place on September 6th, 1887 in St Barnabas Church, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England. Frank's father was Mr Robert Freeston and his mother was Mrs Lucy Ann Roe.  His paternal grandparents were Mr William Freeston and Mrs Mary Kirk; his maternal grandparents were Mr Nicholas Roe and Mrs Ann Bullivant. He had five brothers and five sisters, named George, Robert, Joe, Ernest, Harry, Annie, Nellie, Alice, Lucy and Ruth.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1965 in Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.
