Richard John Tapley Sharpe

Richard was born in 1893 in Christchurch.  Richard's father was Richard John Sharpe and his mother was Matilda Varcoe.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William Varcoe and Elizabeth Nancarrow. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Reginald, Frederick, Cecil, Elizabeth, Violet, Gladys and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.
