Christine was born on October 20th, 1856.  Christine's father was Johannus Jessen and her mother was Katrina C. Krownberg. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Pete, James, Caroline, Marie, Kate and Ellen.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 80 on December 6th, 1936.

Christine and Mads were married.  They had four daughters named Katerina, Hanna, Anna and Ellen.
