Annie was born about 1880.  Annie's father is Daniel Hallas and her mother was Louisa Cowling.  Her paternal grandparents are Daniel Hallas and Ann Wilson; her maternal grandparents are David Cowling and Mary. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Arthur, Ernest, David, Fred, Lily Alice, Edith and May.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died in 1888 in Leeds, West Yorkshire..1
