Kate was born in 1876 in SOUTHAMPTON Hampshire England.  Kate's father was George Frederick Biddlecombe and her mother was Mary Ann Philpot.  Her paternal grandfather was William Biddlecombe and her paternal grandmother is Clarissa. She had three brothers and a sister, named George, Willam, John and Lavinia.  She is the fourth oldest of the five children.
