Joan was born on July 22nd, 1210 in Gloucester,England.  Joan's father was John Lackland and her mother was Isabella of_Angouleme.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry_II Curtmantle and Eleanor of_Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Aymer of_Angouleme Taillefer and Alice de_Courtenay.  She was the third of five children.  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry_III, Richard, Isabella and Eleanor.  She died at the age of 27 on March 4th, 1238 in Near London,England.
