Henry_II Curtmantle was born on March 25th, 1133 in Le Mans.  Henry_II Curtmantle's father was Geoffrey_V Plantagenet and his mother was Matilda.  His maternal grandparents were Henry_I Beauclerc and Matilda (Edith) of_Scotland.  He was the oldest of three children.  He had two brothers named Geoffrey_VI of_Anjou and William.  He died at the age of 56 on July 6th, 1189 in Chinon.  His burial was in Fontevraud Abbey.
