Isabella was born in 1214 in Gloucester.  Isabella's father was John Lackland and her mother was Isabella of_Angouleme.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry_II Curtmantle and Eleanor of_Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Aymer of_Angouleme Taillefer and Alice de_Courtenay.  She was the fourth of five children.  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry_III, Richard, Joan and Eleanor.  She died at the age of 27 on December 1st, 1241 in Foggia.
