Mabel  was born on June 29th, 1879.  Mabel 's father was Edward Davies and her mother was Rhoda Catherine  Sexton.  Her maternal grandparents were John Sexton and Rhoda Pidwell. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Clarence , Ernest, Percival, Harry, Edith , Frances and Olive.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 100 in 1979.
