Clarence  was born in 1882.  Clarence 's father was Edward Davies and his mother was Rhoda Catherine  Sexton.  His maternal grandparents were John Sexton and Rhoda Pidwell. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Ernest, Percival, Harry, Edith , Mabel , Frances and Olive.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 61 on June 2nd, 1943.
