Mathew, known as Max, was born in January 1965.  Max's father was Robert (Bobby) Francis Kennedy and his mother is Ethel S Skakel.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald.  He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Bobby Jr., David, Michael, Christopher, Douglas, Kathleen, Mary, Mary and Rory.  He is the nineth oldest of the eleven children.

Max and Victoria were married on July 13th, 1991 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  They have a son and two daughters, named Matthew, Caroline and Noah.
