Kathleen was born in July 1951.  Kathleen's father was Robert (Bobby) Francis Kennedy and her mother is Ethel S Skakel.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald.  She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Bobby Jr., David, Michael, Christopher, Max, Douglas, Mary, Mary and Rory.  She is the oldest of the eleven children.
