Samuel was born on February 25th, 1826.  Samuel's father was William Glover and his mother was Barbara Mayers.  His paternal grandparents were Amos Glover and Drusilla Spurgin. He had six brothers and six sisters, named John, Harrison, Isaac, Ami, Lucian, Ezra, Mary, Kate, Sharlotte, Liza, Persis and Melinda.  He died at the age of 45 on January 11th, 1872 in Brandonville W VA.  He was buried in Glover Cemetary.
