Liza was born on May 15th, 1834.  Liza's father was William Glover and her mother was Barbara Mayers.  Her paternal grandparents were Amos Glover and Drusilla Spurgin. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, Harrison, Isaac, Ami, Lucian, Ezra, Mary, Kate, Sharlotte, Persis and Melinda.
