Frances was born on November 12th, 1919.  Frances' father was Anthony Hardes and her mother was Martha Wieseler.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry Wieseler and Renata Schmidt.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Bernard, Louis, Lawrence, Laura and Renata.  She is the second oldest of the six children.
