Mildred was born on April 14th, 1904 in Denzer, WI.  Mildred's father was William Balfanz and her mother was Anna Von Wald.  Her paternal grandparents were John Wilhelm Balfanz and Alvina Springstroh.  She had a brother named William.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 90 in October 1994 in Prairie Du Sac, WI.
