William McVay

William was born in December 1890 in Workington, Cumberland. William's father is John McVay and his mother is Elizabeth Ann Smith. His paternal grandparents were William McVay and Ann Heslop. He has two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Henry, Kate Ladyman, Annie and Fanny. He is the fifth oldest of the six children.
