George C Hill

George C was born about 1855 in Woodhouse, Leicestershire. George C's father was William Hill and his mother was Sarah Brookesby. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Hill and Ann Saunders; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Brookesby and Dorothy Marston. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, John, Jonathon, Frank Henry, Anne, Mary Louisa, Sarah, Sarah and Elizabeth. He is the seventh oldest of the ten children.
