William Fothergill

William was born about 1855 in Bristol. William's father was Abraham Fothergill and his mother was Mary Ann Purnell. His paternal grandfather was George Fothergill and his paternal grandmother is Mary; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Purnell and Catherine Knowles. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert, George, Albert Edward, Sophia, Lavinia, Emily and Mary Ann. He is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
