Sophia Fothergill

Sophia was born in October 1846 in Barton Hill, Bristol, Glos. Sophia's father was Abraham Fothergill and her mother was Mary Ann Purnell. Her paternal grandfather was George Fothergill and her paternal grandmother is Mary; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Purnell and Catherine Knowles. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, George, William, Albert Edward, Lavinia, Emily and Mary Ann. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 3 in 1849 in Clifton, Bristol, Glos.
