Emily Fothergill

Emily was born in June 1859 in Bristol. Emily's father was Abraham Fothergill and her mother was Mary Ann Purnell. Her paternal grandfather was George Fothergill and her paternal grandmother is Mary; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Purnell and Catherine Knowles. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, George, William, Albert Edward, Sophia, Lavinia and Mary Ann. She is the sixth oldest of the eight children.
