James Rodgers

James was born in March 1886 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.¹ James' father was Samuel Rodgers and his mother is Sarah Ann Pearson. His paternal grandparents were John Rodgers and Ann Fretwell; his maternal grandparents are John Pearson and Sarah Hollis. He has a brother and three sisters, named George, Elizabeth, Martha and Harriett. He is the oldest of the five children.
