George Rodgers

George was born in December 1893 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.¹ George's father was Samuel Rodgers and his mother is Sarah Ann Pearson. His paternal grandparents were John Rodgers and Ann Fretwell; his maternal grandparents are John Pearson and Sarah Hollis. He has a brother and three sisters, named James, Elizabeth, Martha and Harriett. He is the youngest of the five children.
