Male William Illsley

William was born on July 2nd, 1815 in Parish Church, Blackfordby, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire/Derbyshire, England.1   William's father was Henry Illsley and his mother was Elizabeth Evans.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Illsley and Elizabeth Bath. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Gilbert, Francis, Mary, Elizabeth and Robert.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, George, Joseph, Sarah, Jane, Ann and Rachel.  He died at the age of 80 on December 7th, 1895 in Blackfordby, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire/Derbyshire, England.1 

William's family with Mary Ann Miller

William and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony in June 1838. They had four sons and six daughters, named Arthur, Thomas, William, Henry, Elizabeth, Frances, Rose, Ellen, Mary A and Mary.
