Ellen Illsley

Ellen was born in 1857 in Swadlincote, Burton on Trent, Derbyshire/Staffordshire, England.¹ Ellen's father was William Illsley and her mother is Mary Ann Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Illsley and Elizabeth Evans. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Arthur, Thomas, William, Henry, Elizabeth, Frances, Rose, Mary A and Mary. She is the eighth oldest of the ten children.
