Robert Gregson

Robert was born in 1835 in Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ Robert's father was Thomas Gregson and his mother was Jane Yates. His paternal grandparents were Henry Gregson and Ellen Longton; his maternal grandfather is ? Yates. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, Thomas, Peter, James, David, Ellen, Jane and Margaret. He is the third oldest of the ten children.
