John Gregson

John was born in 1837 in Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ John's father was Thomas Gregson and his mother was Jane Yates. His paternal grandparents were Henry Gregson and Ellen Longton; his maternal grandfather is ? Yates. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Robert, Thomas, Peter, James, David, Ellen, Jane and Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 45 on March 27th, 1882 in Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹
