James Gregson

James was born in March 1843 in Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ James' father was Thomas Gregson and his mother was Jane Yates. His paternal grandparents were Henry Gregson and Ellen Longton; his maternal grandfather is ? Yates. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Robert, John, Thomas, Peter, David, Ellen, Jane and Margaret. He was the seventh oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 in June 1907 in Preston, Lancashire, England.¹
