William Birchall

William was born in 1873 in Catterall, Garstang, Lancashire, England. William's father is John Birchall and his mother is Ann Calderbank. His maternal grandparents were Adam Calderbank and Jane Parkinson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Joseph, George, Edith, Margaret, Jane and Gertrude. He is the oldest of the eight children.
