George Birchall

George was born in September 1886 in Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ George's father is John Birchall and his mother is Ann Calderbank. His maternal grandparents were Adam Calderbank and Jane Parkinson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Richard, Joseph, Edith, Margaret, Jane and Gertrude. He is the seventh oldest of the eight children.
