James Birch

James was born in March 1861 in Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ James' father was Edward Birch and his mother was Ann Mayor. His paternal grandfather was Edward Birch and his paternal grandmother is Alice Nixon; his maternal grandparents were Richard Mayor and Susannah. He had a brother and five sisters, named James, Susannah, Sarah Ann, Sarah Jane, Margaret Ann and Alice. He died at the age of 5 in September 1866 in Preston, Lancashire, England.²
