James Birch

James' baptism took place on June 7th, 1868 in Victoria Road, Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ James' father was Edward Birch and his mother was Ann Mayor. His paternal grandfather was Edward Birch and his paternal grandmother is Alice Nixon; his maternal grandparents were Richard Mayor and Susannah. He had a brother and five sisters, named James, Susannah, Sarah Ann, Sarah Jane, Margaret Ann and Alice. He died on April 21st, 1874 in Preston, Lancashire, England. His burial was in May 1874 in New Hall Lane, Preston, Lancashire, England.²³
