Marjoy was born on November 27th, 1687.  Marjoy's father was Thomas Martin and her mother was Margery  Mendenhall.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Martin and Mary Martin; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mendenhall and Joan Stroud  Stroads. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Moses, George, Thomas, Mary, Rachel, Hannah, Sarah, Elinor and Susan.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 60 on July 21st, 1748.
