Thomas was born in 1728.  Thomas' father was Benjamin Adams and his mother was Agnes Ezell.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Adams and Elizabeth Brunsdon. He had ten brothers and seven sisters, named William, John, Daniel, James, Benjamin, Spencer, Jesse, Jacob, Charles, Edmund, Frances, Elizabeth, Agnes, Martha, Anne, Sarah and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the eighteen children.  He died at the age of 79 on October 19th, 1807.
