William MURPHY 
William was born about 1866 in Kansas. William's father was Michael Daniel MURPHY and his mother was Ellen TOBIN. His maternal grandparents were Thomas TOBIN and Jane CLIFFORD. He had seven brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Admiral, Thomas F., Bushy, Michael, Patrick Francis, Robert Andrew, John Henry, Mary Jane, Nellie, Lizzy, Elizabeth, Maggy and Baby. He died on April 19th, 1904 in Preston, Richardson Co. Nebraska. He was buried in Steele Cemetery, Falls City, NE.General Notes
William had been living with a Patrick MURPHY near Preston, Richardson Co., Nebraska for
about 6 months when he committed suicide by shooting himself with a shotgun after being
despondent about his poor health. William was single and was buried in the Michael Daniel
MURPHY, Jr., and Ellen TOBIN plot in the Steele cemetery in Falls City, Richardson Co.,
Nebraska. Prior to living with his brother, William had lived for 8-10 years in Chicago.
