Ellen (Nellie) KILLEEN

Ellen (Nellie) was born in 1865 in Dubuque, Iowa.¹   Ellen (Nellie)'s father was Patrick KILLEEN and her mother was Katherine GILMORE.  Her paternal grandfather is Edward KILLEEN and her paternal grandmother was Margret UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather was Patrick GILMORE and her maternal grandmother is BRIDGET. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, Edward, Michael, Thomas, Patrick Henery, Frank, James L., Thomas and Katherine.  She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Michael, Patrick Henery, James L. and Katherine.  She died at the age of 89 in June 1954.  She was buried on June 16th, 1954 in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.^1 1 

They had a son and three daughters, named Carl V., Regina Lucille, Catherine (Kitty) and Helen.
