Bridget KENNY 
Bridget was born on January 3rd, 1873 in Door County, Wisconsin.1 Bridget's father was Richard P KENNY and her mother was Eliza LOVELY. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas KENNY and Elenor PURCELL; her maternal grandparents were Edward LOVELY and Bridget DONNELLY. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Francis, William, Richard Lawrence, Edward Joseph, Micheal James, William Frances, Mary Ann, Ellen G and Elizabeth. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 6 on November 18th, 1879 in Arcadia, Carroll County, Iowa.2 General Notes
We had some early notes that Bridget 's name was Nell. After research, I couldn't find any proof of her existence. In July of 1997, I was looking at the cemetery in Arcadia, IA with my boys Phil, Nick, and Kyle, and we found all the missing children of Eliza and Richard Kenny on one pillar like grave stone. All were buried at different times and were inscribed on one stone. We had to use a piece of colored chalk to rub onto the stone where the name and dated were. It was still difficult to read but the chalk helped us read the names. Bridget's name almost looked like Bridley, but we all came to the conclusion that it was Bridget. The date appeared to be Jan 8, 1873 on the birth, but we know Ellen had a twin and Ellen was born on the 3rd. It is possible that Bridget was a late twin.
The spelling on this stone for all three children was KENNEY.
The parents, Richar and Eliza had three children, William, Bridget and Elizibeth that died within 2 months of each other, with William and Bridget dying within a day of each other, all from Diphitheria
