Bartholomew was born in 1887 in Kennystown, County Wicklow, Ireland.1 Bartholomew's father was Richard KENNY and his mother was Margaret MCDONNELL. His paternal grandparents were Richard KENNY and Mary CAHILL; his maternal grandparents are John MCDONNALD and Margaret BYRNE. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Richard, John, Patrick, Edward, Michael, Maria, Margaret and Anne. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on April 10th, 1964 in Ireland. He was buried in April 1964 in Tomacork, County Wiclow, Ireland.2 2 General Notes
